Fasuli Risi are an ecotype of Sarconi PGI climbing bean from organic farming: dwarf bean, very smooth, ovoid in shape and very uniform snow white color.
It is one of the best varieties both for production and quality, it cooks quickly, with a very tender and resistant skin even after cooking.
It is a high quality bean that is part of the culinary and cultural heritage of the Basilicata region.
It is an excellent substitute for rice and pasta as, although it contains very little fat, it is highly caloric and a source of carbohydrates.
In addition, it is a legume rich in fiber and helps keep cholesterol at normal levels.
