Made in Sipario Social Cooperative Onlus , whose working members are young adults with intellectual disabilities or in situations of fragility who work in groups in our laboratories.

They work every day with passion and dedication to produce beautiful, useful and unique objects.
They are simple masterpieces in ceramic, fabric, paper or wood that are purchased because they are “beautiful, useful and not just supportive”.

Products of high craftsmanship and of Tuscany tradition and Made in Italy.

Made in Sipario was born, to offer new stimuli and opportunities to disabled children who have left school. In our cooperative they feel closer to their peers and more integrated, having a real JOB that gives them equal dignity and, at the same time, helps them to acquire more skills and grow professionally and socially.

We try to identify the characteristics of each youth, enhance, develop and use their creative and imaginative potential, beyond the limits of their cognitive and relational abilities.
By doing so, we are able to create original, unique and quality “products” that can be placed on the increasingly demanding and competitive market.

The beating heart of the association are the workshops of the artists, our kids.
In addition to the “workshops”, there is a “point of sale to the public”, where our “Special Artists” have the opportunity to have a direct and personal relationship with the buyers.
Where they make them touch the “originality, beauty and quality” of our products.
This means that they are finally considered as a “real resource“, an “added value” for our community in Florence and beyond.

Achieving self-sustainability and hiring as many disabled youth as possible, offering them a concrete opportunity for personal fulfillment and social inclusion.
To be able to sustain itself, our cooperative needs to be able to count on constant and concrete income. These are possible thanks to those who support us by choosing to purchase Made in Sipario products, creative, valuable and useful works of our Special Artists.
