Cannellino Bio (Organic) Beans from Sarconi PGI in 500g packs

Among the quality Italian dried legumes stand out the beans of Sarconi PGI and,
among these, at the apex of the different ecotypes are the Cannellino Bio (Organic).

Cannellini BIO (Organic) Beans are an ecotype of Sarconi IGP bean obtained thanks to organic farming:
very smooth, they are characterized by an ovoid shape and a uniform snow white color.
Considered one of the best varieties both for production and organoleptic quality, fast cooking with very tender and non-existent skin after cooking.
It is a bean that is part of the culinary and cultural heritage of the Basilicata region.
Together with the Ciuoto it is the one most used by the farmers of the Val d’Agri and in general of the whole Lucania region.
It can be used in many ways in the kitchen, but to make it unique it should be served with mussels and good short pasta from Gragnano.

This legume can be considered an excellent substitute for meat and pasta as,
although it contains very little fat, it is highly caloric and an important source
of carbohydrates and proteins.
Rich in fiber, it also helps maintain normal cholesterol levels.
