In the vast panorama of high quality typical Italian legumes, there is the family of Lucanian beans from Sarconi PGI grown in the Val D’agri area in Basilicata.
These include a dozen ecotypes, divided between those of climbing and non-climbing varieties.
Among the climbers we find the Nasieddu Nero, with an ovoid appearance, white in color with concentric black spots at the ends: one of the finest ecotypes, with a delicious, sweet and delicate taste.
Extremely versatile in the kitchen, suitable for any type of preparation that involves the use of beans.
