With appetizers

Let’s start with bread: taken for granted, perhaps, but always appreciated, especially in the context of aperitifs with friends.
Toast it lightly and spread a veil of chillies compote over it, creating intriguing finger food.
As an alternative to bread, you can try it with both crackers and breadsticks.
You can create mini sandwiches by cutting the sliced ​​bread into triangles and spreading a thin layer of compote.
Then stuff them with fresh cheese, thickly sliced ​​salami and a leaf of lettuce.
Among the cheeses the most suitable are the soft ones with a soft texture, such as ricotta, robiola, crescenza, but also brie and taleggio.
You can cut them into cubes and place them neatly on wooden cutting boards, combining them with a bowl containing the compote.
