His works blend with the island wonders and the beautiful colors of its landscapes: a succession of shades and tones, from blue to light blue, from green to red to silver.

Blue is the color that most captivates the eyes of the visitor, but of the artists too: it is the color of the sea that surrounds the island and that merges with the blue of the sky, bright, strong and sharp with the clear air after a summer storm.

The colors of the sky and the sea are in contrast with the incredible variety of green of the Mediterranean scrub, rich in chestnut, holm oak and oak; in spring, when the vegetation awakens, the green is enriched with blooms of yellow broom, white hawthorn and fuchsia expanses of the Fico degli Ottentotti.

Autumn also has its charm, with intense colors from the dark green of the pine trees to the brown of chestnuts and dry leaves, mixed with the yellow and red fruits of the arbutus trees.

But the real show is that of sunset, when the sky is tinged with a thousand colors: orange, pink, purple that sink into the deep blue of the sea.

CAPOLIVERI, a small village of miners and farmers, is immersed in this intoxicating landscape, the colors of which Jessika borrows to create her artwork.
