Area:<\/strong> Colli del Trasimeno wine, Voc. Polardo, Piegaro(PG) Umbria Italy
\n<\/span><\/span>Vineyard:<\/strong> Polardo<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span>Vineyard of 7500sqm, 17 rows
\nNature of the soil:<\/strong> In the area there are lands attributable to the Villafranchiana fluvial-lacustrine formation.
\nUnder the surface layer there is the presence of silt-clayey sands containing gravelly pebbles, of marl sandstone.
\nTopographical altitude:<\/strong> 375 meters above sea level .<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Training system:<\/strong> Guyot. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Harvest:<\/strong>
\nstrictly by hand, in crates, in the last weeks of September. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vinification:
\n<\/strong>The grapes are harvested by hand by the winemakers and are directly pressed, separating the flower from the second of the press.
\nThe first part (flower) after a light decantation is sent to the controlled fermentation at low temperature (15-17 \u00b0 C).
\nRemainder, after clarification, is also sent to fermentation at a low temperature.
\nAt the end of fermentation it will be kept in the tank until spring, before proceeding with bottling. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The white wine of Tenuta il Polardo is a superior class wine.
\nIn the glass it shows a straw yellow color of intense brilliance.
\nOn the nose, clean and elegant aromas with fragrances of white flowers.
\nOn the palate it is very fresh and lively, of great pleasure and excellent persistence.
\nFull-bodied, tasty and substantial as befits the personality of an ancient but original grape.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wine Pairings<\/strong>
\nThe Polardo Grechetto White Wine 2021 is an excellent aperitif.
\nAt the table, but not only, it goes well with seafood appetizers, vegetable creams, salmon steaks and fish main courses.
\nIts structure allows it to also pair with meat appetizers and white meat dishes.
\nNothing takes away from sipping it even outside meals drinking it cool in summer or hot periods as a refreshing <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
